help on first tacoma add on

Forgive me I see this has been discused before but I am having a tough time making a choice on tonneau covers. I am torn between the access limited and the extang revolution. I would love to be able to keep the stock rails and use the cleats. The weather in western ny can be rough and I have concerns with the extream cold and snow. Any info as well as pictures would be great! Thanks!

 

Hey Tom.. I have the access vanish, which is very low profile.. you keep the stock rail, and you can still use the cleats, but not while the cover is closed.. I live in Northern Minn, and i can bet our winters are just as harsh, so I think any access cover will do..

 

Access literider is a great tonneau and it held up well with up to a foot or more of snow this winter... and the price was 280 on "the list". Guessing by the quality of the literider, I'd say the limited is good to go.

 

Oh and it gives you full use of your rails and cleats too

I have the Literider by access and I use the rails and cleats even with the cover on. I am VERY pleased with it, but i need to pull it off and put some cap tape on the front rail. It doesnt seal real well and leaks just a little in hard rain or washing. Someone on here put a gasket on the front and it sealed it right off.
