hey guys. anyone had a yakima skybox? what size, how far past the bed does it stick out? what size bed do you have? i want to get the bed bars ATO makes and maybe get one. to keep road salt and dirt off the board(s) and gear. or should i just get a cab for the bed? only think i don’t like about the cab. is the look and i can’t take it off my self or have a place to keep it really. can leave it on because my dirt bike wont fit in the bed than.

Yea I'm supposed to go to tahoe in 3 weeks but they have no snow and its 60*!! I've been seeing where I can switch my flight too, Boise was an option and go to sun valley. I'm leaning towards Portland oregon and going to mt bachelor, or denver and hit up a few places on the front range.

    sorry...

    Park rat.. Lol

Idk what size.. I think it's the Thule Atlantis series 1600 but could be bigger than that. It fits 5 boards, boots, and most of the other gear. I don't use it over the bed anymore because I got a softtopper, just put it on the roof now. I highly reccomend them though. Fuck ruining your shit with road salt.

I have a thread about it somewhere...

    Edit: here's the thread

right not targhee and colorado are the places to go. sun valley is not that great, right now they are open, but also with man made snow, and for the 80 dollar lift ticket its not even worth it, even on a normal day. hopefully in another 3 WEEKS we will have the resorts open, if not than you can shoot me now

god i hope she shows her self and shows all...because right now she is trolling the shit out of us

ok thanks! i looked at them more today online. and i think i may just get a best top. i could use it more and it wont stick 2 feet out from my bed. (i have the 5 foot bed) and smallest i saw was like 82 or 84 inches long. i really don’t want it on the roof. i want to try and keep everything below the roof line.

having a few boards stashed in the bed with a bestop over it isn't exactly what I'd call secure. Idk how much you spent on your set up, but I don't leave my boards lying around anywhere without being locked up. Atleast run a bike lock through the bindings and off to a d ring or something to keep someone for opening your tailgate and running off with yours and your friends boards.

i'm just messing with you. :D

I prefer layers though. If I'm too hot, simply take off a layer. in your case if you are too hot.. can't do much.
