hey so i am looking into the Aries bull bars. i want to know what people think about the stealth series vx the reg 3" black bull bar. Supposedly its more corrosive resistant and a slightly different shape but i cant see a good picture on a taco. anyone have one?? its about 50 bucks different. so the real question is which looks better?

secondly comparing the Aries nerf bars 3" reg black vs the 4'' stealth is it worth the difference in price ??100 Bucks?

    thanks!!

I have the aries now, had the weston on my first tacoma, imo, the weston looked better, i think its a bit different shape, just looked sleeker...and my aries has surface rust at all the welds, not impressed!

    Bull bars suck.

I didn't realize Aries made 2 different ones. I had a black one on mine for awhile. IMO I always though the Westin and Aries looked identical minus the skid plate part.

the aries sits more straight up and down, where the westin has a bit of a bend in it and also the black plastic covering the ugly welds...on the chrome anyways.. in ther words, I say go with the westin. its more expensive but looks better on our trucks!

what made you get rid of it? i think eventually i will get a real bumper but for now its more for looks than anything else. Aries has a new line out called stealth its supposed to be a top of the line line but the bull looks the same to me. the nerfs are 4 inch instead of 3.

Eventually decided I no longer liked the look anymore. My truck is actually on that google page of results. Mag gray truck in the backyard. Albeit my truck was mainly stock then and I eventually painted the skid black which I liked better.

But yeah I had one on my TRD Sport and loved it, Westin Chrome, I also like the fact that the black plastic covered the welds.
What color is your truck? Kinda makes a difference when your going Chrome vs black.
BTW my bull bar saved me a few thousand dollars in damage, turned the other guys truck into an accordion, their not all show!!!

I also had a stainless Aries but it was on a Silverado. It rusted on the welds too.

sooooo you love things that suck???:D LOL

Have have an indigo blue and i am blacking everything out NO CHROME!!! so black was my choice. wasnt a big fn of the plastic caps. I went with the stealth series supposedly better rust protection. glossy black. if she gets banged up i fig i cant lin-X it and it will stay black. if i ever get around to really off roading with this thing i will prob get a real bumper but for now a bull bar it is. i like the idea of it providing some protection! i have heard mixed reviews.

You should check out the bull bars from truckgeardirect.com I saved a good bit of money using this website and the bull bar looks just like the Aries.
