Window vent visors? Which type or brand

    From what I've seen, they are pretty much all the same. With Weathertech and AVS brands coming out slightly on top.

    In channel: Cleaner look, but tend to scratch the edge of the window
    Stick on: Easier to use, but leave sticky mess and don't look as clean.

    I am very pleased with the ease of installation and function of the AVS in-channel vent visors. I've only had them for about 6 months and so far so good.:cool:

    i too bought the avs ones and haven't had a problem since, and that was about 6 months ago.....I think they look great too! Sorry, in-channel too.....

    Winch, front hitch, step bars, bed extender, bed step, gull-wing toolbox, tailgate lock, security system, cb radio, etc.
    I use the in-channel type as well. In fact, all I've ever used, with several prior vehicles. If waxed occasionally (regular car polish), they hold up pretty well (many years). To ensure they stick securely, install in warm weather (or inside garage) and leave windows closed for recommended period. To help avoid scratching the window tint, give the channel a quick wipe with a damp rag (to remove dirt & debris) each time you wash the truck.
