OME up front, Dakar in the back, Elite front bumper, Warn winch, Tactical rear bumper with tire swing/jerry cans/hi lift, Revenge Fab. sliders, Tundra brakes, Camburg UCA's, Safari Snorkle, FJ TRD wheels, Lights, CB, Switches, skids, LED's... OH MY!
I have a set of the older Camburg UCA's (no built in zerks) with the uni-ball joints and they have been on for about 50k. Every couple of weeks I spray them with a dry teflon lube to stop the squeaking but they are fine otherwise.

Pretty darn sure Camburg uses stainless FK balls, but I could be wrong.

TC uses chrome uniballs for sure.

this.... my original chrome balls didn't last a winter. My stainless balls have been on forever.

At least with stainless you cut out the #1 cause of failure which is corrosion. As soon as chrome gets salt on it it's going to start degrading.

Mine squeek. Its not the uniball though its the control arm bushings. Its worse when cold. The uniball should be pretty quite. I would be most peops control arm bushing are the problem not the uniball.

I've got the camburg bj uca's and its the bushings that squeak. For all those who think the bj ones have less maintenance, it's not true! I end up greasing mine every couple months!

They won't rust to shit and fail in 3 months.

Seriously though if you flip them over you should see a part number on the ball.

The correct # for stainless is #wssx16t

I would call whoever you bought them from and ask. if they aren't stainless don't get them.

We have a 2000 Tacoma 2WD, and experience squeeks only when the outside temperatures are cold. Do you know if the control arm has to be dropped to replace the bushing? That's alot of work...maybe the pivot bolt can be removed, leaving everything else in place, and the LCA end swug down a couple of inches?
