ImMrYo's Mirror Mod, Stereo Upgrade - Power Pro 60x4 Amp/Kicker powered 8" sub/Pioneer component speakers, PassPort 8500 Radar Detector, Locking Bed Storage Cubbies, Onboard air system - Viair 450C compressor/16 gal. PVC tank/15 & 16" horns, quick-d/c air chuck in bed cubby 24" LED light Bar (mounted to skidplate)A Headlights, foglights interior lights and backup lights all converted to LED (HUGE difference)
Installed (#601) yesterday on my 2013 (yes, it fits)... had the TINIEST bit of trouble getting the connector up into the headliner (my radar detector wire and the Sat Radio antenna wire bundled with the mirror wire didn't make it any easier...

BUT - it all went as advertised; I didn't even have to take the detector's mirror-mount off, or re-adjust it. And the front sunglass compartment still operates as it should, with no interference.

People have said that this component is "aircraft quality". Well, I currently work on commercial aircraft simulators, and this part really does compare very well in precision & quality (but thankfully, not price!) to commercial aviation components. I especially liked the "mad in USA" sticker and the included hex-key.

Nice job, Gerry... Mailed my check yesterday. Very satisfied. I'm 6'1" tall, and it's nice to be able to see past that honkin' big-assed mirror, LOL.

Now if only I can get the steering wheel to telescope back an inch or so more...

I received my bracket about a week and 3 days ago. It sat in my car until today for two reasons.

    1) I'm good with tools, but not around a car.
    2) My truck is a '13 and I've only had it for about 3 weeks and didn't want to mess anything up.

I was bored this afternoon and decided to give the install a try. It was easier than I expected. The view is much better now.

The only thing I'm worried about is this affecting the headliner over an extended period of time. Can anyone chime in on this? I don't want my headliner to pull off from the stress a couple years down the road.

Other than that, it took me about 10 minutes to install and everything went smoothly. I re-used the stalk plastic clip as well. Not necessary but I felt like doing it.

I have a 2011 Tacoma with the clip on mirror and I'm having a world of trouble getting the mirror of the bracket. Anyone else with this issue or tip for how to remove it?

So I didn't really notice the mirror was a blindspot until reading about it on here. I had a couple of instances where I didn't see something and put 2 and 2 together. Once I noticed it really started bugging me, and if it weren't for ImMrYo's mod, I would have probably done something in my little machine shop at work that may not have been as high quality.

As soon as I got it I put it on. I had the torx t-20 bit already and read the first few lines of the directions.. something about pull plastic tab....yep came off easy. loosen torx.. yeh, ok mirror off, I got it from here.

except I didn't. I tried bracket on first then put on mirror and vise versa.. couldn't wedgie it up above the headliner. tried pushing harder and remembered "IF YOU ARE FORCING IT, SOMETHING IS WRONG! STOP!" so i did. some of the yadda yadda in the directions was taking off another tab and the white plastic wire connection. Did that and whuddyaknow it was easy.

THANKS AGAIN! Check is on it's way to you, night and day difference! You can adjust that thing almost back down to factory position or like I have it, pressed up into the headliner. Love it!

(ignore golf clubs, racing stuff, gun safe and california's gift of hard water scale all over my new truck windows and hood)

Kudos to ImMrYo for trusting people to pay after receiving the item...I'm guessing sales are higher than it would be if it was the other way around.

Reminds me of another forum where a long time "trusted" member sold t-shirts to several members...received payments but never shipped the products

    ImMrYo is the man!

Is it too early to check the mail?;)

I knew the stock mirror position sucked on my first drive, but I was ready for a new Tacoma and ignored the little things. For the few weeks I've had it, I was ducking and diving to see around the mirror whenever I drove a long right curve, especially around clover leaf exits, and steadily hunched over at intersections. On top of that, though my seat is fully set rearward, the mirror was so close to my face, I had an overall claustrophobic feel in my new truck.

Now, I put the ImMrYo bracket on this morning and took it for a test drive.
I drove and drove and drove and the difference is unbelievable. That mirror is now where it belongs and not only can I see, but I feel like I have twice as much room in front of me.

The bracket itself fits tight to the window and holds the mirror steady. The material, tolerances and details in design are nothing short of extremely professional quality.

Thank you ImMrYo. This product is awesome.

Received #640 this afternoon. Wife told me I had 20 minutes prior to dinner. Wasn't sure what to do with the 15 minutes I had left after the install.

Looks great, major improvement (and I am only 5'8"). Try before buy, self addressed envelope for payment, etc... If anyone is wavering on whether to get this, stop wondering and send the PM now to get on the delivery list.

Well worth the asking price. IMMRYO, your check is in the mail (first thing tomorrow morning). :)
