Can anyone recommend a tonneau cover that can be used with the cargo bed rails without damaging them? I'm finding several options, but they all seem to require drilling or clamps that wrap around the top lip of the bed.

Thanks for the recommendations. FYI, it's a double cab, short bed (apparently the TX packages aren't available for the long beds).

Does this cover prevent water from penetrating cargo bed?

I've had several covers over the years and have noted issues:

Velcro- usually tears away or the glue dries out and fails

Snaps- often break apart or become so difficult as to want to break them

The Extang Trifecta has been superb! Easy to install, doesn't interfere in any way with the tie downs provided by Toyota, quiet, and easily removable.

I just kept the one from my 2011 (sold to my son) and installed it on my 2013.

Guess there are stick on weather seals. How well do they work to keep out moisture? Just curious because I plan to keep tools in the cargo bay full time...

Too bad it isn't water tight. I sure like the looks and accessibility more than the 700 series. Have too much invested in equipment/tools to have them exposed to moisture.
    Thanks for your input.
