I have a 2013 Tacoma DC Long Bed and was wondering if anyone had an idea for a good under tonneau cover bed chest/box. I would like one that fits between the wheel wells and wall closest to the cab so it would need to be about 42" long, 18" tall and 17" wide (those are max dimensions). I have been looking like crazy, but everything I find is either too big or too small. Any help/input is greatly appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Ken

JW! OH!!! You read my mind! I JUST saw one on one of the site I was perusing and it would be PERFECT. I am just not positive about fit. Does anyone know if these fit on our Tacos?
    Thanks,
    Ken

Universal design fits most full-size trucks with or without a tonneau cover. Toolbox is 55" long, 22" wide and 15" tall.

Thanks OZ. Man, it would be very close. I think it would fit, but I have a BakFlip tonneau cover and they make use of the track system on the Taco to hold the tonneau cover rails. My concern is that the box may fit into the truck, the tonneau tracks may impede the lid from opening. Man, I sure like that Truxedo box. I had originally wanted to get a BakBox made by the same makers of the BakFlip, but they don't make a model that fits the Taco.
Anyway, thanks again for the info.

They do fit our Tacoma's. I was checking information out before I bought my Tonneau cover. The only issue that I had with them is that the toolbox sits on the rails, I didn't really care for that. I am sure that there is more options out there then just this though.

I had a UWS chest toolbox that fit below the bedside line. I don't have a part number but it was 42" x16"x18". Check out UWS.

Thanks JW!! That is awesome. I think I will start price shopping. If I have to trim part of the BakFlip rail/track to allow the lid to open, that is fine with me, just as long as it fits in the truck.
    Thanks!!

How do you mean it sits on the bed rails , like there is only a 1" ledge supporting all the weight of the box and everything in it ?

Thanks for that info OZ. I knew that Truxedo had a Toyota kit to adapt to the rails, but didn't research enough to find the instructions, etc. I am concerned about the width, so I would probably try the box in the bed just to see how it fits, and then either order the kit (if there is enough room) or fabricate a mount. If I can get it to work it will be EXACTLY what I was looking for, fitting under the tonneau but allowing for longer items (like 2X4s) to lay down underneath it.

RobD, does the DeeZee chest fit between the bed wall closest to the cab and the wheel wells? Can you tell me if it sits any higher than the top of the Toyota tie down rails? Thanks man, I have been looking for HOURS to find a box the right size and looked at several of the DeeZee chests, but was afraid that they were just too large.

Thanks again to everyone, these are EXACTLY the kinds of options and the info that I need! MUCH appreciated!
