Don't waste money on the ultimate lift kit, either do billies, or ome lift

Thanks for this suggestion. Much cheaper than the ultimate kit I noticed a lot of people get new or better upper control arms, would those be needed for this?

Thanks everyone for the advice so far, it might have saved me from losing my marbles

no UCA's are only needed for over 3" of lift to get proper alignment. some folks swap them because of larger tires hitting the stock ones.
If you have 2wd prerunner go with a maxtrac spindle lift its 9k times better

cool, i miss doing that kind of work but dont miss the travel

my vote is for Old Man Emu coils and Old Man Emu Nitrocharger shocks and Dakars in the rear. If you plan on armor, bumper and Winch you'll want the 886 coils, if not 884 or 885 would be fine. Since your truck is so new you might get away without new UCAs, seeing as your LCA bots should not be froze up like mine. In the long run new UCAs would be a good idea.

With this setup you shouldn't have issues with the trailer, just get a 2 or 3" drop hitch.

Very nice! What kind of load do you think the hitch can take, as much as a reese or other?

I'd feel very comfortable putting the full 6500 on it. Mounts to the frame with the 10 factory bolts, 5 per side.

Yea. I don't know metal and structure but looks like it would be weaker than the square tube that a regular hitch uses. Again I'm not a structural engineer or anything. I really do like it, I'm just nit picking.

When you consider the bumper's material and profile, the strength is there. Haven't had a failure or complaint about one not holding up in ten years or so.

That's assuring! I'll get one eventually.

Not sure, thinking about making a RTT rack, probably depends on what the weight bearing would be, probably 3/8" or 1/4"
