Plastidip the lower bumper valance black ($4-5) so it matched the upper grill insert.

BHLM and retrofit and that's a nice looking truck!

 

Moved my Rigid Dually Amber's to the top of the bumper and put my Rigid Duallys with amber covers in the fog light location





Also did the Yeti Tundra 65 mod for camping

 

Yep. On my way home from work today, I started to hear a rattle that was not familiar. I got home and the leaf is sticking out the side. It snapped right after the rear axle. I jacked up the truck and slid the leaf back in and clamped it together until I can get a new suspension. Might even lift it a little.

Ok, I have owned my 2013 Toyota Tacoma for approximately 7 months now and thought it would be best to wait until I put on a few things before posting. So here goes.

I believe that's about it...for now.

 

I haven't really gone nuts with this truck over the 75xxx miles I have on it. I have towed a ~1200lb boat about 150 times or so in two years and before that I towed a much lighter boat since day one. I have an idea of what I want but obviously I have to make a decision rather quickly.

I don't know what to tell you man. I wouldn't suspect any of that light duty towing as a cause. Mines in an '08 too lol Do you drive on heavily salted roads? That's just weird...and shitty

 

Salted in the winter and as noted above dunked in water all summer long. Yeah, shitty describes it well. Off to the suspension forum.

Too easy. Pop the hood, stand in front of the drivers side head light and look down. Mounted across from the battery is a little 1"x1"x2" black plastic piece of shit that's rounded over on one side. It's got a big hole in it. Hold your key fob and lock the door to verify you've found the correct piece of plastic shit. Disconnect the piece of shit using the factory connector. You can either leave the piece of shit in place or pop it off of the sheet metal and throw it away.

Similar, but with an annoying chirp. Seriously though, only takes a second to disconnect once the piece of shit has been confirmed, and the marker lights still blink to confirm proper operation of the door locks, and you can hear them operate without that stupid piece of shit chirping in your ear.
