I wanted in-channel visors as well, I think they look better and flow with the lines better, so I ordered and installed the AVS product on my double cab, also with tinted windows. I've had them on about 6 months now and have no issues with my tint or with the window seals. Possibly different brands are thicker/thinner at the piece that goes into the channel?

I love my EGR in-channel visors. Nice fit, clean lines.

1 more for AVS. I didn't want to disturb the integrity of the window. It looks clean enough for me. :)

EGR for sure .... 8 years ... three Tacomas ... all tinted ... never had any troubles ... no wind noise ... no ruining tint ... but as we all say, at the end of the day it's your truck.

I have the EGR's. No complaints here...and they are a third the price of the Weathertechs.

    I added a bolt once...

another vote for EGR Slimline inchannel.
Had them on my 2006 Tacoma. Great for NW rain as I love to keep my windows cracked a bit.

Just installed a set on my 2014 and....lost the rear drivers side (my fault).
Couldn't find a rear set so I emailed EGR...they sent a rear set Fedex in two days...and, the guy at EGR sent emails at 1:00am...said they were buried and he was working at home at night...

    Great product and great CS...

Note: some folks (Ford F150 owners) have issues with the in channel (binding windows when closing)...I have had none with the Tacomas

I'll add...I have the light smoke. After a few years you will see some light scratches in the plastic from drying the pickup after washing. Not sure if the dark smoke hides that better or not. The light smoke is easy to see through however...
