    My decision to go this route had a few factors:
    1) it's a lot lighter than a winch mount bumper
    2) my truck isn't a crazy a** rock crawler
    3) so, I don't need the extra clearance around the tires that a high cut winch bumper offers
    4) I like the look of this better, given #3

    Oh, I'm a rock crawly guy, but I have a pretty capable FJ40 for that.
    My goal with this truck was to be able to run Alpine Loop, Black Bear and such as that easily, capably, and comfortably...

    I don't dig on mud...:D

    Well I'm a southern boy from Tennessee so I grew up with a little more mud and some pretty ass puckering mountain trails. Not really been out to anything in California yet told some of the guys on the SD thread we'd have to set up a trip one weekend so I could try a few out.

    I have an afe pro dry s. I think I paid around 40. I bought it purely for the reusable factor. After a few filter changes it pays for itself.
