Just wondering if those who have this style cover have any issue with using it in the winter in snowy environments like upstate NY? If I roll it up and put my ice shanty in the bed of my truck is the Velcro going to get all junked up with ice and road spray when I'm driving down the road? I'm looking at the access and truxport models right not.

    Thanks

I've had the access for about 3 years with no issues. Velcro is still perfectly fine.

Had two different ones over the period of three years. I'm in northern BC, cold long winters. If exposed in the spring, when the temps were fluctuating above and below freezing, the Velcro would get mucky but a quick splash at the car wash and it was fine. No real permanent effects and only an issue when the top was rolled up. They work great in all seasons!

I have the Access Literider on my long bed. I liked it because I still have full use of the tie down rails, and I liked the way it finishes in the back. It has an beveled aluminum frame that locks in place in the back and really tightens it up. It also has round aluminum rods crossing the cover (3....I think) that are spaced about a foot and a half apart and keep it from sagging. It looks sharp, and is functional.

I got it here with the TW discount. It says ToyotaNation, but they honor TW as well.

N-fabs, BakFlip VP, power tailgate lock, bed lights, "raptor" grill lights. Standard mall crawler stuff.

I have had the same cover for 3 winters, and it holds up well to the snow here in Wisconsin. Still looks like new.

I had an Extang FullTilt Tonneau Cover on one of my previous trucks, a '00 Dodge Dakota. Had it 7 years and it looked good when I sold the truck. If I was in the market for a soft cover, I would buy an Extang.
