Supposedly the view of the backup camera will change somewhat ... the backing lane is not supposed to remain sttic as it now does ... it is supposed to "swing" as you turn.

Dang nice pickup Op, after seeing the test mule of the '16 or '16.5 etc... not sure I could pull the plug on a '15, especially if there is a new trans, motor and drivetrain. Don't get me wrong, I love the 2nd gen.

But the speculated improvements on the next truck have my full undivided attention. I probably won't be back in the market though until after the mid cycle model year, re-fresh. Much like how I have one of the last 2nd gens now. But congrats, and enjoy in good health.

again, this won't be on all 2015's, this is likely an SET distributor accessory. Not true factory option.

Only change is deletion of the digital clock in the center stack area, because clock will be displayed in the radio display.

Discontinue of Regular Cab models, you'll see an Access Cab with rear seat delete kind of like what GM announced with the new Colorado/Canyon.

Minor trim changes in the rear bulkhead of double cabs for that storage compartment area.

    You guys will soon see.

Discontinued the reg cabs? I see base 2wd reg cabs all the time for work trucks, it seems weird that they discontinued them. I guess to cut down on costs.

I don't know man I like the nautical blue better. It's a better dark blue. I've seen the blue ribbon in person and the way the color looks in direct sunlight, it gives off a ugly purple tint to it.

BTW love the way your truck looks

Base regular cab work trucks have nearly zero profit for the manufacturer and sales were dwindling. Since the factory is already running at capacity, might as well focus on the models that are highest in demand, which are the double cabs, 4WD, TRD packages, etc.

I think the Nautical Blue looks purple in the shade/certain light.
Either way, I love both Blues & Thanks!

Blue '84, '94, '06 ... went red in '10 and just about pulled the trigger on a blue in '14 but stuck with red ... got to say ... when they are cleaned and polished the blues (with the exception of the gawd awful Speedway Blue) really pop ... good looking trucks ...

Should be delivered next week so I'll post pics then. Both stock and after I install all of the mods I already have, I can't wait to see the graphite beadlocks against the blue. As for the tailgate lock, the website has pics now of that accessory option. Since I intend to get a fold a cover G4 ASAP this was an awesome addition IMO.

I now have wet okole covers, graphite beadlocks, Michelin tires, Westin step bars all ready to go.

I find it frustrating that they added the tailgate lock near the end of the 2nd gen production run. I think the Frontier had one since the beginning.

Again, this is unique to South East Toyota distribution only. They've been swapping in the PopNLock on Tacoma's for a while now.

This is NOT a factory piece.
