Hi everyone.. decided to join the group after about a year of just reading. I have a 2012 TRD Sport double cab (black sand pearl) that I am looking to make a few tweaks to.

I have had a Volant CAI on it for about 8 months now and though many post I have read say there isn't much improvement to overall performance I have seen about a 2.5 mpg improvement since installing it.

I know I have to build up my profile, but I'm looking forward to joining in on the conversations in the future!

You saw over a 10% improvement in gas mileage after installing a CAI? Wow, any idea how that works? Welcome to the forum!

I'll be completely honest.. I don't. I've been charting my MPGs since installing it and I average about 20.7 mpg in my daily commute, which is about 40 miles round trip. I'm not an aggressive driving by any means, so I'm not mashing the pedal. I remember reading a post on here several month ago about imagining an egg under your gas pedal and how to avoid breaking that egg.. so that's what I do.
