Your right. Looks good. I like it. Rock on VagLock! Kidding, thought your screen name was funny to poke at.

I had considered color matching the chrome Stars on my wheels. Decided not to since I am selling them soon.

Thanks skygear, I used the Plastidip to see if I liked it. Hope to get them color matched in the near future. Have not located any rattle can paint to match the BRM paint yet.

    Removed the Dakar leaf pack:

You can remove the bolts on the "military wrap" easily, but ONE of them requires you to relieve the tension with a C Clamp. This is a 6" clamp.

You can just remove the nut on the center pin bolt with no clamp. It'll unload gradually.

New leaf in front of the unloaded pack. Where does it go?

Well, it's easy. You can't miss it. Just keep pulling leaves off the top until you come to the first one that's smaller than the new add-a-leaf and stop there before removing it. There is a front/back direction to the leaves and it's obvious, as long as you remember to check and don't just slam it in there.

Stack em up and put the nut back on. Again no clamp required. You want it tight but not nuclear. There's no torque spec and it's only a 14mm nut - a strong guy could easily overtorque and shear it off.

But you do need the C Clamp for that middle wrap again.

And, ready to install or re-install:

(Also pasting this into the 'bjmoose installs OME' install instructions.)

Got the new truck on Saturday. Sunday put in Weathertechs in the front and back. Monday installed a Pop N Lock. On the way from Amazon are AVS window visors, Gorilla wheel lock, and a locking gas cap.

This with the aluminum spacer on the passenger side. Same on other side, such a simple mod to cure a huge headache.

This was all the last couple days but my photos weren't uploading, I got rid of that hideous plasti dip smoke I had on my tails and took the time to do it right with VHT night shades, went a little darker than I wanted by accident but I think it looks good. Also replaced my heads and fogs with super white plus bulbs, love em.
