Nice! Did you try and make it all the way up or just chill there?

    Any snowflakes?

How are you going to mount it, stock mounting? When I did mine I reinforced the frame and made new mounts, figured if I was already in there might as well.

Well, I will be using the tow hook bolts and then welding a part back to where the LCA mounts to the frame and the one bolt that goes into the end cap of the frame. That should stop any crumpling of the crumple zone!

That sounds good, I would do the frame end mod also, the sock mounts are supper flimsy. Reason I asked is some bumpers totally suck, arb, and just use some flume tabs to the stock locations and hooks. Gusset's are your friend, I even gusseted the frame rail to the ifs cross member, cause why not:D

I wouldn't bother making a mount that ties into the LCA bolt..that's where the alignment tabs are..be a bitch

Agreed, but what I got from what he was saying was tying into the its member not the LCA bolt.

    best wheel bearings around! www.marionbumper2bumper.com
Back when I painted it a little over a year ago I really messed up on the clear coat. It had major orange-peel problems, as well as "dry"spots. So the shine was never really there.

    For the right price! lol.

That is the idea! I love my truck, but even other people buy a brand new truck and go wheeling with it! No real difference there.

No worries everyone! It is going to remain the same color. It took me a week, but I was finally able to get the base color ordered and the correct mix of the two metal flakes I had customized it with. So it will still be that beautiful Viper Blue Pearl it was before!:D The dang paint alone cost me $300!

Added the X-Grip phone mount, took some tweaking, the first arm was too short to get the phone where I wanted. I also put in a full set of Husky liners and they are awesome. I ordered the Weathertech(sp?) for the wife's 4Runner and she and I both hate them. Now I get to reorder a set of Husky's for it.

I love my X-grip! Put in almost the same spot too, except mine's in front of the TC shifter, very versatile. RAM mounts are fantastic, have a bunch on my kayak.

My only gripe with the Husky liners is that the "tread" isn't deep enough and water sits right on them getting the back of my pants soaked!

I ordered the Huskys when they were 30% at autoanything and they are ok.

Had the weathertechs in my legacy and hated them.

So for the price, I'll take the Huskys.

My two main issues for the Huskys are:

The driver's side mat slides forward when I drive. It doesn't incorporate the hook, in fact you remove it, because they say the pibs on the bottom of the mat will hold it in place. Not even close.

And just like the weatherteachs they still have fitment issues in some areas. Leads to a lot of debris getting down between the liner and carpet along the tranny hump (in my case)

Yeah, ARB bumpers look huge, but the mounts are crap. God idea on the frame end mod, I had forgotten that.

Yeah, take a look at my side profile file (bottom right) and you will see a pinkish "tube" being my support. Ties into the subframe, crossmember thing. It would be welded above the bolt, out of the way of the whole alignment adjustment tab.
