My Girlfriend thinks Tacomas are not trucks

There's methods to get a girl's number other than talking to her or written on the bathroom stall? My world has been turned upside down.

 

My wife thinks cake is not a healthy breakfast food.

What he said i don't think you need a bigger truck or a new girlfriend. You just need to let your balls drop...

Still - I think the only reason this thread is going on for 12 pages is because it deals with a fundamental issues...The "truck" is just an example and most all of us have experienced a scenario like this before. Everyone has their own way of dealing with those issues.
You basically want a partner that supports you, and you want to support them as well...always want to see a happy partner, putting them down is not the way to go, and if your able to be that rude to your partner you don't deserve to be with him/her anymore. I didn't feel supported and appreciated in my marriage anymore and that's why it ended.

EDIT: I'm talking long term here, if you just out to have fun that's a different story of course, but then you shouldn't worry about it and consider it more like friends with benefits type of deal.

 

Eh, people who get hung up on material details like that are dumb. What type of motorcycle does someone ride, what brand, what brand of truck, blah blah blah.

Women or men who fixate on that crap are shallow and I think it will eventually come back to burn them later in life.

 

Take her out and show her its a truck. You and her go wheeling, you go in yours, and she takes hers. I bet you will go places she cant make it, when you do, dont rub it in her face, just say hold, let me get my tuck and get you unstuck, might make her see the error in her ways. Now if she says her truck is to "nice" to take wheeling, then she is hung up on having nice stuuf, rather then functional stuff, and i dont think there is any cure for that, sadly enough.

 

Trucks aren't meant for wheeling, they're meant for towing and hauling. Neither of which the Tacoma is stellar at compared to a full size truck. People with farms use their trucks like a piece of machinery. Not for a toy to go play with. I think that's where the disconnect is.

stop fighting the defn and see if she wants to go enjoy doing something you enjoy doing. Let her tow you truck to the trail head if that's what makes her feel tough

You're forgetting the "off road" packages trucks offer. Those are meant for off road recreation and enthusiasts, hence being part toy/ part truck. This is where the tacoma excels.
