Well I have been a member of the site for a few years but when I bought a Frontier I quit drooling over Tacoma's. Well I sold that truck and went without a truck for 18 months. Now I have the truck I wanted to buy 5 years ago:

    2009 Toyota Tacoma
sr5 4wd Dbl Cab Pyrite Mica
I bought it with 34k miles and I love it!

The previous owner installed westin running boards, bull bar, weathertech floormats, g2 bakflip, American racing AR23 wheels, BFG Rugged Terrain,a kenwood dnn770hd with WIFI and steering wheel control adapter.

I plan on getting rid of the chrome and powdercoating the wheels black. I would like to have the n-fab or avid step bars and maybe the AVID light bar as well. All of this will happen down the road but I will be posting the chrome stuff for sale soon. For right now I am trying to figure out this super complicated head unit and discovering that my factory speakers kinda lack in the bass department. This is my dream truck and I plan on having it for a while! Happy to be a member. Here are a couple of pics of my old Frontier and my new truck.

the Taco feels like a monster truck compared to the Frontier. I will say my rockford sound system was better in the frontier but I am in the process of remedying that. I found a guy who will powder coat the wheels for 65/wheel. Gonna get on that soon.

Thanks - I do love the old school as well. My dad is rebuilding a 22re in an '87 taco now. Gonna be a good truck.

Welcome to the site! Your Frontier looked as though it was near the same color as your new Taco! Drop the bull bar off at the nearest dumpster!

    Welcome again!
