Well, after my Ford Escape was totaled a couple weeks ago (I wasn't driving lol) I set out on a truck journey. I wasn't sure if I wanted a big V8 beast, but then I found the Tacoma. It was love at first sight. I test drove a 15 TRD for a few days but ended up getting a great deal on a 15 Prerunner short bed v6 with the SR5 package. :D

I am having a hard time deciding on the bed extender/cover...any suggestions?

I would like to keep my rails and be able to have the bed extender and cover.

I like the idea of the roll back in case I ever wanted to get a 4 wheeler or motorcycle in the back.

I think ive narrowed it down to the access cover but are there any others that fit those requirements?

Also on my wish list is the window deflectors and possibly the floorliner digitalfits by weathertech, does anyone suggest any other brands for the deflectors?

Attaching a few quick pics I snapped yesterday.

I had the extang full tilt which was the best of both worlds. Tilted up like a fiberglass top or could roll back like a traditional cover or take off the whole top easily.

I thank you all for any suggestions! That Extang Full tilt is nice! Any advice on spray on bed liner just throwing in a bed mat?

use a rubber floor mat or carpet liner. the composite bed is durable enough and since you don't have to worry about rust there's really no need for a spray in bed liner.

What do yall think about the truxedo truxport vs the access....from what I understand I could get the truxport and just install it on the oem rails it came with right? vs the access the rails would have to be removed and then the access cover installed?

Thanks for that TIP! So maybe I will just go with the Truxport. I mean it comes with a 5 year warranty and is budget friendly. I like the idea of not having to remove my oem rails with Truxedo vs Access.

I'm not sure. I need to talk to my car club/mechanic buddy because I know he will know. I would like to get my tinting darker too. Guess I'll go with the AVS Vent Visors. They are definitely cheaper than the weathertech.
