No camper on my baby, er, our truck! It has to be a flat one and see that's what hubby keeps saying it will leak. We plan on traveling and pulling a camper and therefore have things in there we dont want wet.
What is your's made out of?

Isnt there one where it locks from the top that you dont have to open the tail gate to get in there? I wonder if that lock ontop would be trouble?

Mines just like a leather cover on a frame that simply clamps onto the rail system.

The one bubagump posted up is the kind that locks, its a hard top. Correct me if Im wrong but I think you can get them with and without locks. Only downside is if you need to haul something large in it, its harder to remove than a soft top.

I have A soft cover on mine it rolls back and the support beams can lift off completely opening the bed. I like that kind a lot (not lockable though) All in all Welcome to TW I hope you enjoy your stay

Thank you guys! Maybe I'm just being a girl and wanting it all, maybe they dont make one that will suit me. I just dont want to have to open the tail gate and pull levers to put an overnite bag in. But it has to be waterproof and secure. I guess I'll keep looking. AND if one of you pointed one out like that to me, please forgive me if I am forgetting it now because I've looked at so many I admit I'm confused. :) <----doesnt take much ;-)

    Congratulations on the new Toy!

I just bought a cover for my new truck and couldn't be happier with it. It fits like a glove, is low-profile and easy to roll back and forth. It also keeps the bed dry. Check out the TruXedo LoPro QT, you wont be disappointed. http://truxedo.com/lopro/land.php

What do you mean it rolls back and forth? The pictures dont show how it opens? Where is the lock? Can you access the bed without opening the tail gate?

My bad, there is no security lock, but pretty much any soft cover offers no security anyways as someone with a knife can open it easily.
