Anyone with a DCSB know if a 60" Hi-Lift will fit in the bed, mounted on the side rails? I realize the bed is 60" long and assume it will not fit but thought I would check to see if anyone can confirm...???

I have no issue cutting an inch or two off the handle, etc. if needed but don't want to waste money either. It seems the 48" might be a bit short for lifting the rear with my current build.

You can get a rack to go in the bed of the truck to allow you to put tools on.

I'm running a canopy. I just received Allpro's Hi-Lift jack mounts for X-mas and want to know if I can fit a 60" on my bed rails with a short bed

Credit to basikbiker for recently posting this. You can ratchet strap the wheel up to hold it off the ground and limit droop while you jack. Makes sense. If you've got droop for days, even a 60" can run out of travel with the wheel on the ground. Tire stuffed, jack point in a rut... If you strap it, I think you could make a 48" work. I have one, though I haven't had to change a tire offroad, knock on wood. My side rails are occupied by my bakflip cover, so it's nice to fit a 48" hi lift across the back bed rail where 60" wouldn't fit.

Not sure about 60" down the siderail. Take a measuring tape if there's a hi lift dealer near you...

    Ouch...Thanks for trolling:rolleyes:

The bed is 60" long and I know this... What I'm looking for is real world experience mounting a 60" on a short bed rail and being able to close the tailgate.

I cut a couple of inches off so I could have the clamp clevis attached. Otherwise it fit pretty snug in the bed without it attached. Not the best photo I have, but you can make a 60" work by cutting a few inches

Exactly what I intend to do at this point...58" Hi-Lift is what I expect all said and done. Thanks for sharing!

What Mounting Brackets did you use to make it fit & where did you get them?

Dude, just go to the hardware store and pick up I believe it's 1/2" carriage bolts. The fit very snug in the bed rail and then just throw a wing nut over it. Hi lift mount for $2
