Yea this is the one that belonged to Yardley Love. The rack is a Rola. I had a Yakima loadwarrior rack but that one was noisy on the highway with the sunroof open. The Rola is lower profile compared to the Yakima.

 

I'd love to have a set of those five spokes painted flat black

 

If you notice the r/rear wheel is black between the spokes, that's caked on gear oil from the bad axle seal so it's been leaking for some time.

 

I see that now.....those shoes are totaled. Might as well get brake parts for the rear

 

Yea the shoes failed MSI due to the oil saturation.

 

Damn shame. Did the seller even notice? I've never seen it actually caked onto the wheel like that....

 

Cool thanks I was wondering about the noise level of baskets had yakima bars on 1 of my wifes cars before and the drove me crazy of course the front bar was right over the front seats

 

No, the seller was a family member that was handling the sale. That's why i had the seller run it thru Maryland inspection first, i didn't want any surprises after the purchase.

 

Rola is quiet, don't even know it's there.

If you haven't already check the fuse/ckt breaker for the sunroof. You might get lucky.

 

I can hear something clicking when i push the button to open it so i think it's getting power. But i'm gonna check that at work today. Thanks.

 

Good luck with the sunroof Dave. Sounds like you are on the right track.

I would still swap out the relay, before buying one. The relay can operate but not transmit power to the motors.

Just heard my offer on a house was accepted in St Leonard md, going to keep the house I just bought and rent it out here in charles county. Since my family out grew this house so fast and I happened to stumble on a house that after its all said and done I will have close to 90k in equity and is double the size almost, I couldn't pass it up.. plus it has a real garage/workshop so I can actually get my fab table put back up .


So Colin, I'll be damn near right down the street, haha
