Looking for opinions, thoughts, recommendations for intakes and/or exhaust for a 2014 TRD DBL Cab long bed. Are there any benefits/gains to adding these? I have heard different things about benefits to MPG. Looking for advice as new to mods on a tacoma. Thanks!

k&n cold air intake, flowmaster catback, 8000K hid heads and fogs, red interior LEDs, westin bullbar, trd floormats, TRD radiator cap, TRD seat covers, plasti dipped rims.
as for the exhaust, I would just have a muffler welded in place of the stocker.

No mpg gain. Intake and exhaust attempt to increase in air, which if achieved requires more gas.

AFE Stage 2 SI for my intake and Gibson cat back for my exhaust. Y-pipe down the road for the TRD SC, 2.85 pulley, fuel pump and of course the mandatory gauges: A/F Ratio wideband and boost/vacuum gauges  I know I"m going overboard :D

I've done both and would probably say leave it alone. Unless you do engine mods I think all you are doing is creating "cool" sounds and costing yourself MPG

depends on what exhaust you put on there, on my 2010 taco, i put the banks monster exhaust on my truck and it helped a little with MPG's i'm waiting a few months before i do the same to my 2015 Taco

To get the gains out of putting on an exhaust and intake you will need a fuel controller.
Just putting on an intake and exhaust is hit or miss depending if your truck is running lean or rich due to manufacturing tolerances...

I would just swap out the muffler and get a drop in a good filter and remove the carbon filter...

    for good power gains get:
    1. a good 2 1/2" system with a high flow muffler..."the loudest you can stand..."
    2. Drop in filter or full intake.
    3. Intake spacer.
    4. A fuel controller, like the MAF CAL, or unichip.
    should be good for 20-30hp

Stage II would be headers and full exhaust....
