There's quite a few guys from TW in El Paso. Check out toyota borderland off-roaders on facebook. There's usually always someone down to wheel. Lots of fun meets!

I wasn't driving. I was working on the pipeline on base next to Joe Battle.

Hi all, can anyone recommend a good shop in town (El Paso) that knows their way around tacomas, does good work and has fair prices? I just moved into town (Far east side) from Brownsville. My leaf springs are sagging like crazy ever since I got my camper shell. Thinking about getting some OME's to replace these original leaf springs.
    Thanks all!

I went with add a leaf and lift blocks, definitely helps with camper shell and when pulling a trailer, gives lift and a little stiffer ride.

I've been moving all over the past few years and still renting a home now. With every move, I've owned less and less because I hate moving it all around with me like a snail. Can't wait to own a home (with a large garage) to buy stuff to tinker with my truck!

I got bilstein 5100's in the front set at 1.75, I also had an AAL for about 8 months- it started squeaking on me after 3 months. I tried lubing it but it started up again after a few days. It almost drove me mad- went right back and took it out, got the TSB springs instead. I got a leer 100R which made my rear drop, now I'm high beaming people at night.

Gonna go the inexpensive route and get a 1.5" block for the back since I don't carry that heavy of loads anymore for work.

Take the 375 to Montana and make a left all the way pass the new theater and keep going until you get to the ATV rental and paintball arena. There's a entrance to Red Sands

Yeah I know Red Sands, I like little more technical stuff at low speeds, a place to test articulation. Sand is fun but my truck isn't really built for it.

A lot of trails with some variety of terrains around the Anthony Gap area. I get out there and play once in a while.

Haven't been to Kilbournes in about a year, sounds like a great time, but as luck has it, got something going on Saturday.
