New member, first post, long time forum stalker , bought my 06 taco access cab 4.0L 4x4 in June 2011. Slowly building it up to an Expedition/ Overland type build. Current mods: ARB bumper, Warn M8000 Winch, Magnaflow exhaust w/ muffler dump, K&N filter with emissions filter delete, Herculined body, Optima Yellow top battery, Dick Cepek Mountain Cats 285/75/R17, custom switch bank and controls wiring. Just wanted to say HI!
Anyone on here from Northern Idaho / Montana / North Dakota areas?!?

Working in the ND oilfields, living out of my truck with a dog, trucks nice and clean right now! My truck hasn't looked "clean" since I bought it. It was pretty nice inside for the first 3 months I owned it, then in Sept of 2011 I drove it to Burning Man in the Black Rock Desert of Northern Nevada, it's never been "clean" since that trip... Lol...that playa dust is something else.

285s I think is about 32.5 inches, it doesn't really rub unless they are turned all the way, or stuffed up off-road. Truck just turned 100K a few months ago, warranty is up now, and I'm wanting to do a lift this year, I'm leaning towards the Total Chaos long travel kit, and a 1" body lift, I'd like to run 35s in the future. Body mount chop. I will probably trim that ARB bumper on the outside trailing corner, there's a little too much material there. I have a bunch of new parts for this thing sitting at home, just need to drop a couple more paycheck and I'll be ready to go, I hate taking everything apart to do one mod and then putting it back together again for a week or a month and then repeating, later this year I'm gonna strip the interior and do all of the wiring mods that I have planned at one time.

Haha....mud butt, that's from a couple days of working at a saltwater disposal and hopping in and out of the truck with muddy muck boots and most of the mud on the seats is from the dog jumping around while he's muddy. I need to invest in some GOOD seat covers. Any suggestions? I want to lose the carpeting in the cab and go with aluminum diamond plate and Herculiner floor instead. When I strip the interior this year, I'm gonna lose the back seats and build a storage drawer/gun vault/ subwoofer/ power inverter/ electronics storage cabinet and the top surface will be flat for a dog bed.

I'm pretty happy with my Wet Okoles. There is usually a group buy every year around this time.
