I bought a set of used Sway a ways on craigslist. Looked in the same condition. Found out that every part in one of the shocks was Fubar including the shock tube and shaft. parts alone to fix it cost just as much as a new one. So i got screwed and now i have useless shocks hanging out in my basement. You cant tell what they are like untill you open them up.

I would find out how much a rebuild costs, then talk. That and have the seller clean them up at least.

When I sold my used Icons I sold them under the premise that whoever bought them would pay to have them rebuilt (even if I felt they didn't need it). In my case a rebuild would have cost ~$500, I sold the C/Os for $250. Worst case scenario, that's $750 for refurbished Icons.
