    I love these things.

The best part about them is that they elevate whatever you're carrying so the bed is free for other stuff.

I left it out for the pictures, but all I do is put a bungee on the bike down to the bumper and the bike doesn't move an inch.

Price is $45 per bracket, and that includes all mounting hardware.

Nice pic. Can't wait to get mine. What hardware do you recommend to mount snowboards? I saw on the other thread that you had some thule brackets mounted. Will any thule model mount on the bracket?

I'm not interested, but I am curious. How much weight are these meant to hold before the tie downs they are mounded on fail, or the bed rails for that matter?

They're very sturdy. I don't have a weight rating, but I wouldn't hesitate to put four mountain bikes on them

All you need for ski rack mounting is some 1/4"-20 hardware. Just about any rack can be mounted on them.

Can it support a full size tire? Size 255 75 17 to be exact.

That's a good question. A tire and wheel is pretty heavy. It could definitely support it, but bouncing around on a trail would probably be a bit much for it.

    Too many to list now.
Static load is always going to be way more than kinetic.

This looks awesome OP! Well done with the fit and finish!

Way cool, good idea. What weight will the rail system hold before it gets ripped off the bed. I think a heavy duty version of this for spare tire mounting is a killer and easy way to get the spare out from under the bed. May be some support from gussets underneath... You go Voodoo.

I could definitely design and manufacture a bracket that could support 500 pounds, but the real weight limit of the cleat and rail system is unknown.

I'm just not sure if I would ever trust that system to support the weight of a big offroad spare.

I'd like to see someone use my brackets to support a cargo basket. That would be neat. Maybe I'll even design my own collapsible basket :D
