So I was wondering how everyone felt about a get together around Easter time this year out at Rausch Creek, PA.

Some Camping, some drinking, some offroading, some drinking...

Easter is April 5 this year and I guess we would meet up on Thursday or Friday before, wheel and camp till Sunday.

This is just a feeler thread for now. I will post a reminder thread again when the dates get closer.

This will give everyone a chance to get their trucks ready and maybe use that income tax return on some new parts and goodies.

    Look forward to your input,

    Bub

Just a heads up we did a trip the second weekend in April last year and there was a burn ban in the county that rausch is in so they said no fires. We ended up staying at tha KOA the next county over. Not a big deal only ten minutes away and it was a beautiful place. Idk if the burn ban is a yearly thing or what so that's something too look into. I'll see what I can find out

    I can't do weekend after.

But FYI, the fj northeasters usually do a big meet Easter weekend. Might wanna check to make sure they aren't going to be there the weekend after. And x2 what Steve said about the burn ban. Make sure it isn't in affect if you're bringing firewood.

If it is, the other camp site was perfect for our needs. We were in the lap of luxury there and I am sure I can reserve that wing again.

Just got off the phone with the lady at the county office. She said it's too early to know for sure about the burn ban but she said if I call back at the end of this month she would know for sure.

    Gents,
I'm really impressed. You're hitting all the bases and it's over a month away.
Did anybody contact RC to see if there are any events scheduled, or did I miss that post?

Agreed, but in the end I'll camp where everyone decides they want to. Camping is only fun when there are other DB's to camp with.
