I think it would be a good idea to split the Buy/Sell/Trade into regions so we aren't looking at something we may want then it end up being half way across the country. Just a thought I had.

or at least split the "no shipping" threads out by region.

We should atleast have a local pick up only thread, it seems most the so-cal guys want local pick up which rele bums me out :(, not surprising though. MOst items for our trucks are larger items that are a pita to ship ayways

i disagree...you'll just end up w/ guys posting in the wrong region by accident adn create more work for the mods. also, its just much easier to see all that is available in one spot. if you find something you want, try to find a buddy or relative close to that person.

some are interchangeable like rims and tires and people dont know that. A majority of the people that buy 2nd gen rims are 1st gens.

I think its fine the way it is. Whats wrong with just posting a link in your region to your thread in the BST section that says "local only"?

EDIT - This thread should be in the Site suggestions section too.

plus even if you write local only on it, people still always ask if you can ship

But... I'm on the East coast and there's alot of ppl with things on here from the west coast. Some of it I would be interested in but I couldn't buy it due to shipping cost and it's not likely I'm gonna know anyone on the West coast. I do think they should divide it up atleast free shiping or East and West

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Speaking of "wrong region", shouldn't this be in "Site Suggestions"?

^^^ Just require posters to put their state's abbreviation first thing in the subject line. You could also require sellers to add "pick up only" or "will ship."

Sorry, I disagree w/ the OP.

Even if a part is too far from you to pickup...it may still be the part you need/want and may be willing to pay the shipping.

Plus...it keeps the market open and allows all to see what parts are available and what they are selling for.

Without having to sort through many "regions" for an item we are looking for.

I'm on the east coast also but if someone on the west coast is selling the part I'm looking for, I want to know about it. If I can't find it locally, I might be willing to pay the ridiculous shipping to get the part. It's a valid suggestion but I say leave it as is.

Agreed. TW doesn't need more forums to search through. But I still say require more info in the subject line of each post (a standard format if need be) for more clarity.

This is kinda my thought too. If you don't go read another regions B/S/T section you might not find out about a local distributor and one off place that someone is selling a part from. It's all about exchange of ideas.
