FS section separation: 1st gen/2nd gen/other truck

I can only assume this has been suggested before.

It's silly to browse through the FS section not even knowing if the thread applies to my generation.

It'd be worth while for everyone if the FS section was separated into three sections.

FS - 1st gen
FS - 2nd gen
FS - other truck

Thoughts?

There have been a couple threads about thread separation and there are some for, and some against. One issue I see with your suggested separation is some things fit multiple vehicles. Say off-road lights for example. If they're listed in just second gen, first gen guys won't see it, if it's listed in other, now you have to search the second gen and the other to find what you're looking for. I say it's good in theory but there's nothing wrong with the way it's split up now.

then we could incorporate a universal section to suit that scenario

the positives outweigh the negatives
