Would it be possible for Members to be given a permanent, including posts, Account delete option in the User CP?

Or will is it more reasonable to leave it to request only.

Are you talking about an option to delete their entire TW account?

You piss off too many people in the chubby girl thread or something? :p

True account deletions including the removal of posts are a rough deal and require rebuilding of the forum at the database level. There's no way this will fly.

Why would you want that anyway?

    neglect, mostly.
elaborate on your question. are you asking if a user can totally delete themselves? no i don't think so. a mod can though, and every thread and OP they have made. only thing that ever stays is when they were quoted.

edit: well i know tcbob can, cause i know of a member he's done it to.

    Ok fair enough, question answered.

Thats what I was thinking of and wanted to know if it could be a option,
unlike facebook, that doesn't REALLY delete your account.

it would be nice to be able to delete mass posts at a time..... instead of asking a mod to like when Aaron decides to be mister CSI
