    I searched and found some threads about some, but the chats were all gone. I think a IRC based chatroom would be good, I can help with providing a java app for the page for those who do not want to download a 3rd party program to join the chatroom. And for those who have problems with other java-based chatrooms they could download the program to connect. I think IRC would be best cause it has very advance features, like unique banning control for abusive users and such. I have done web development abit and ran several websites, even ran my own webservers :) Lets get some opinions!!!

    I was kinda thinking of a all-around chatroom, off-topic and on-topic, or one for each! vBulletin has ability to add a chat applet right? I've always avoided vBulletin so I do not know much about it, I'm more of a phpbb kinda guy :D
