So, I know there is the Chatzy account for TW at http://www.chatzy.com/863813921924 However, with no direct link only a few regulars use it, a lot of people probably don't even know it exists. My suggestion would be to put a direct link in the upper main bar somewhere ( Home | Topics | <chat> | Tacoma Photos.... ) that way it can get some attention.

But wait! There's more! The chatzy program has some issues that I personally find kind of annoying (for instance some symbols don't work, it doesn't keep you constantly logged in, refresh is slow.... list goes on). My proposal is to create an IRC room (I threw up a temp one to test if anyone wants to try it at irc.freenode.net, #tacomaworld ). That way, if people use an IRC client it'd be a lot easier and more useful, additionally there are some decent browser based clients that you can use to connect to it as well.

Anyway, just a suggestion, because when people are on it's usually pretty fun to chat with other members.

There is a direct link in the "Site Information" pull down. ;)
