Install and Care of New Decals?

Just sent the MO to Sockmonkey for some new decals..outstanding work on his part.
Asking about install and care of the decals. I plan on running a clay bar, then sealant and wax soon (new truck, but like it shiny). Once I install the decals on, how long do they take to cure/settle?
After this timeframe, what is everyone doing to care for them. I was thinking of throwing some sealant/wax over them to protect them (good or bad idea). Want these to last a long time if able..so any suggestions on care are welcome.

Thx

I think people treat them as all stickers... They don't care much about protecting them.

But if I were you I would clean the area where you are going to put the sticker as best as possible then place it using sockmoney's instructions, and then treat it as any other part of paint on your truck. Wax it, seal it, polish it, do whatever you would like it shouldn't affect it's longevity too much.

This ^^^

There really isn't much else you can do. Clean the area and slap it on there as per directions say.
