    Yeah that would actually be hard. A friend of mine has a very fast one and it runs 1100 HP. I believe his is still the fastest 12v in the country :rolleyes:

    There's a sas 01-04 ext cab 5 speed with 56k miles on Craigslist here for 15k. Just a simple leaf sprung d44 on 35's but it's still nice as hell

    Theres quite a few fuel only 12 valves at 1100hp. And there are quite a few 12v that are beyond 1100.

    I know a guy that works at bully dog that had a P pump, twin turbos at120psi on a 24 valve pushing 1300 horse. course he couldnt hold a head gasket so he now has a 12 valve built to hold the 120psi boost..

    lol dude in the live thread bashed tacomas and said jeep was a better off road rig.. then said he had a taco and sold it cuz it was cheaper to buy a jeep than sas a taco :rofl::rofl:

    yes it's true untill you try and run a bigget tire than a 35 on that jeep and then youre looking at tons and gobs of fab work so in the long run no it's not cheaper if you want big tires.

    16k total, including jeep, Kingpin 60's, spooled, locked, dual rear 4link, single front, caged, high steer, full PSC, twin sticked 300, full disc, on 40's. 4" of up 28" of down at the knuckle. I believe his argument that a heep can do more as a base has some validity to it, I would still want a taco. My pockets just arent that deep, hence his love for heeps.

    i see but at the same rate that's got a really short wheel base, its 90% droop suspention which im not a fan, and there isnt 4 doors there.. so is my tacoma worth the extry 7K ill be into it after it's all said and done yes yes it is because it wont have a motor built by Chystler.

    Edit: that twin stick is nice but im going to run a 4 speed atlas.. alot of cost does go into quiality..

    LOL, arguing the legitimacy of the chrysler 4.0l. Where are you getting a 4door 1st gen for 7k? Wheel base is at 115" with a 25" pan height. Why would you need anything more than droop? You looking to king the hammers your taco?

    truck cost 10K the sas will cost 13K that puts me 7K over your build but like i said im using a more expensive Tcase air lockers front and rear that alone jumps the price way up.. I do a lot of king of the hammers type of stuff i want a tall frame height. My wheel base is 125" right now im pushing it out to 140". As far as motors go well im not saying the 4.0 is a bad motor but im not saying id ever own one either.
    I own a dodge and it doesnt say dodge on the motor..
