This is really coming together very well.

Almost ready for the coilovers.

 

Why not just use TW and put your pics here? I am still confused as to why people still use services like photo bucket now that TW can host your pics.

 

My springs are supposed to be here tomorrow Coilovers already are

 

Personally I think it's a pain to upload photos to Tw other than by sending them to live. Last I checked I believe it was 3 pics at a time and usually takes a while. Plus I can remember atleast a few times that the pics got screwed up. My build thread is missing pics now and I know of a thread that all the pics in it are completely different now.

I would use razzi.me . It's what I use, the site is SO MUCH faster than any other site I've used for photos. FUCK photobucket. Oh, and no mention of me spending the entire weekend helping you link that bitch

I test fit a tire and wheel last night and cycled things. Surprise surprise, no clearancing needed at all. Tire clears everything at full bump lock-lock.

Proceed to work a little more on massaging the brackets a bit. I am making sure all the brackets are at exactly the same angle as the links

Got the axle end lowers done Sunday morning when Eric was still here. And I got the frame end drivers side lower moved as well.

 

Well both frame end lower link brackets are adjusted and at the exact same angle as the lower links.

I also did some work on the frame end panhard bracket last night. I cut some of it apart and raised the bracket by 3/8" so the pivot is at exactly the same height as the pitman arm end of the draglink

Also capped off the panhard mount with another frame tie-in as well. Cap plate is 1/4", scored and bent, then welded up.









Oh...and my new springs came

Removed the drivers side lower bracket and welded it up solid:







Its tacked in position back on the frame now. Gonna try to get the combo bracket on the pass side done tonight.

Got the double-shear steering worked out this weekend. Plates are double layer 3/16" plug welded together, then fully welded around the perimeter, then bored for the 3/4" bolt. The steel spacer is mimicking the 7/8" Heim from the tie-rod.







No pics of drivers side since it was still wrapped to slow cool from the post-heating .
