mine freespools like a dream with the rebuild. everyone who pulls cable for me (thank you everyone) always comments on how easy it is. maybe there's something differnet between the 8k and 10k other than just the gering :notsure:

and hmmmmm on the spare part :drevil: buying a washer and dryer for the new place and an HD projector/screen for 120'' TV experience :D but I may hit you up in a week or two to see if you still have it.

From Colin's post I assume you are sselling one for cheap but last I knew I thought a new one cost as much or more than an FJ tcase.

we're talking about just the actuator......not the entire transfercase.

Hell yeah it does. Last I looked they were like over $400 for the actuator alone.

And yes I am selling mine for $110 shipped. :D

I know. The actuator itself is freaking pricey. I think the ADD one is pretty pricey as well but the tcase one is insane!

Speaking of tcases, I have an extra Taco one sitting in the garage. Should I bother keeping one for spare parts or just get rid of it?

1st gen and 2gen tcases have different low range gear ratios not sure if there are more differences though. 1st gen is 2.28:1 and 2nd gen is 2.57:1

Great. We can finalize the details once it gets closer...I was thinking of heading down Friday night this time too, more sleep means better wheeling, and time for breakfast :D

I paid $300ish for my add actuator. It was a lemon law case so Toyota paid for it and my rear bumper and my winch with the settlement :D

Haha the "wheels" are fake, there's actual wheels mounted inside the rear "wheel" and a caster inside the front one. They protrude 1" down from the decorative "wheels" to allow it to roll nicely :D

    T-case actuator is sold.

Anyone want an illuminated 4x4 selector switch? $25 shipped.

Illuminated with red LED's and on a adjustable pot to fine tune the brightness/color to match the dash. Just tap into any illumination sourch and add a ground. Red numbers/red arrow. Done by me long ago.
