Probably about 60-80 ft including waste. You create a bit of waste working with tube, as there is always something you don't want to two-piece that requires another full stick to work with.

Well got the FJcase twin sticked, and the crawlbox adaptor bearing replaced (again), and ran out of time.

Also when removing driveshafts, I realized where my vibe was coming from...busted ujoint in my doublecardan joint for my rear driveshaft. Damn

Well I don't know if I mentioned it here or not, but I officially sent my 2014 Ultimate Adventure Application in! I don't want it to accidently get missed, so I emailed it in and sent a copy snail mail.

The deadline to enter is March 31, last year the dirty dozen was announced on April 3, and the final 6 were announced shortly after on May 9th.

If I get selected, there will be some neat little changes I plan to do to things in addition to regular prep. Stay tuned and keep your fingers crossed!

    Thanks guys!

Got some more work done last night. Case was twin-sticked over the weekend. Got tired of waiting on some laser cut parts for a short throw twin-stick I am making, so I extended some internal parts on my own...cut/weld.

Two 1/4" spacers under the shift base, longer parts inside the shifter and bam.

Both stick all the way back:

    Both all the way forward:

Actually not at all, lol. I found a cloth twin stick boot for a samuri that I an make work! So much nicer looking than all the rubber twin stick boots out there.

Mark, you have the C&M performance bronze kingpin bushings right? Did you use their supplied spring pins? I really didn't like jamming that pin in there because it smashes the position of the bushing against the opposite wall of the knuckle and wasn't allowing me to get a proper preload on the knuckle. The stock plastic bushings have a small round tang on them only to keep them from rotating, not jamming them into place. I made up a special bushing puller at work, removed the bushing and spring pin and replaced it with a 1/2" long 5/32" diameter dowel pin to keep the bushing from rotating but allowing it to sit on the king pin freely. Absolutely necessary for getting accurate preload on the knuckle! Why they supply you with giant spring pins is beyond me.
