Are you limiting the up travel so the tires don't get into the fenders? Looks like you have a lot of room leftover if you moved the Panhard back a few inches behind the axle.

The picture shown was at bump, 5 inches above static, with a 22 inch frame height. The droop number is still to be determined, because we don't want to move the truck from it's position at this moment. The rear end sits on the concrete at 14 inches of travel, and room to drop.

The pan hard bar actually has to brought down on the frame side.

Pitman arm version 2.0 this one is built using a Sky chromoly splined slug and 4130 plate. 100% TIG welded goodness. we re built the original prototype due to a slight mis calculation in the length needed.

I am not putting up much info on the cantilever kit. this is a product that we have built from the start with the intention of making a kit for the tacoma as well as 4runner and FJC. But we did want to share our progress. When checking suspension bind the sway bar was disconnected and we had 14" of travel limited by the floor out of a 8" shock
things we still need to do in the rear include finish up the bracket plate work. finish a tube substructure to help support the cantilever suspension and provide a mounting place for an OBA air tank. and finally mount the king air bumps.

will the front swap kit work with a mid to late 90's ball joint d60? it is extremely hard to find a 78-79 kingpin 60 anywhere near me and the single one i have seen had a firm asking price of 1300 and needed a total rebuild anyway. also wondering if the link placement would work with a coil and shock combo instead of a coilover to keep the cost down and since i don't want to go through the inner fender anyway i don't see much reason for the added cost if i can avoid it.

That's a big negative on the separate spring and shock. I'm not asking you to trust me, but if you trust me.... Wipe the idea of it clean from your mind.

^^^^ That was a great question, and I appreciate it.

Sorry if I'm not as passive as Josh. Just straight to the point with things I guess. When the front and rear kit is done, it will be a figured completion that we know will work, and work well with spec'd components.

Ok thanks. just wanted to know, if I do go through with the sas then I will go with coilovers. Any option for those that dont want the shock towers to go up through the inner fender. I have a 1" body lift and my engine bay is off limits to anything but a cross over tube. Which probably means a 12 inch coilover or a shortbody 14 if anyone makes such a thing.

I am tempted to say that some sort of coil over can be mounted inside the wheel well. It will give less wheel travel, but the only option we can give at the moment would be our shock mounts that have been engineered for your own enginuity.

Totally digging these questions, because we are game to build what it takes.

Right now we are building what we are building, but if something needs to be designed for a market that needs to buy, you can bet your money that I will design it and make it worth the cash.

Im ok with less wherl travel as long as I dont have to move anything in my packed engine bay. Also forgot to ask if the link mounts or links will interfere with the stock tranny crossmember.
