so the other day some idiot in a flat bed delivery truck reversed in to the front end of truck hard and bent up the bumper really bad. we traded info and he left, mad but kinda happy now ill have insurance money to buy a real offroad bumper. So i go to work as im leaving the parking lot i go over couple speed bumps go to turn and my tire starts rubbing real BAD WTF. this is what i find. DAM speed bumps did me in. how common is it for a sas to crack at the spring hangers. well time to re do my sas and do it right not like the previous owner did...

i think the hit probly just cracked it and the speed bumps finished it off. any one got sugestions on how to repair this and reinforce it so it dont crack again.

was thinking of going with TG front hanger brace with the holes i like how it boxes the frame to give added support for the hanger what do you guys think. ill probly add some other gussets to the hanger.

The TG hangar might be a good start but I'm surprised that hangar didn't rip off sooner. Typically like to triangulate the front spring hangar into the section of frame just behind it to spread the load a little more to resist tearing like it did on your truck.

Any suggestions on how to fix the torn parts or what thickness of metal to use.
