Toyota rear locking diff

    Hi guys I bought a 97 tacoma that has the toyota locking rear in it that had come out of another tacoma this rear has never been set up on this tacoma no wire harness or toggle switch nothing can anyone tell me ware to begin with getting all of the components I will be needing and how to begin installing the parts thanks

    The locking diff is not currently in the truck? are you trying to swap in 3rd members? If so the locking diff 3rd member will not line up to the studs on a non-locking housing.

    The truck I have was totaled they put a bed from another truck on mine along with the entire rear that has the locking capabilities need to know how to hook this rear up so it can be used in the locking manor getting power to the solinoid and drive motor

    Look at lowrangeoffroad.com they have a wiring/switch kit for it
