A Triangle is the strongest shape, with that being said I added sweet curves lol. The surface area of the bottom mounting pad is 4.25"w X 4.50"h. The force of a impact forceing up will be hard to peel away the weld from the frame.

UPDATE!!!

1) I've moved the Supports inward between the square & round tubing.
2) I gave the KO a slight more angle to fit better on the bend.
3) I have NEW mounting plates coming, Same shape just longer with a bend to them to wrap the under side of the frame.

Here are Jaytee013 fresh fit up set 01 Extra cab
