There are a couple of areas that are free and open to the public that I know of.

One, and the best in Oklahoma is the Disney Off Road Park, south of Grand Lake, in the Disney area.

There's an area called White Water Park out by Manford/Keystone Lake, though I haven't been there.

And then there is Little Sahara out in the Panhandle.

    There's bound to be more.

Check my gallery, I'm uploading a bunch of pics from my Disney trips.

So, as it rarely happens, I have an unusual streak of three weeks in a row where I have two days off each week (a Sunday and Monday). I'm already tied up on the 1st of July. But I am free on July 2nd, 8, 9, and 15 and 16.

So, I'm proposing a day trip to either, or both of: Disney and Little Sahara on the 8th and 9th and the 15th and 16th.

Disney is free and open to the public. Little Sahara I think you have to pay a day pass.

Happy Birthday John!!! Hope no one is affected by these fires. We should have another get together one of these days when it's not triple digits.

You got a place to go? Otherwise the only real area that I know is the Disney/Langley area south of Grand Lake.
