I've got the 55W halogen landscaping bulbs in as reverse lights. Over a year and nothing melting so far. :D

The LED corner light bulbs I've got up front keep going out though. Any ideas? Think maybe they overheat being in the headlight housing?

And I thought the 2 x 4 bearings are different than the. 4x4 ones no spline hub. If your close get the 4x4 one and then a 1/2 shaft to hold them on. I don't know how far you are in the conversion.

I only ordered the one because I have two literally brand new 4x4 ones in my building but was told not to run them I would destroy them because I'd have to take the cap off the back of my spindles and nothing to cover them with

Thanks for all the hate and discontent on the chop gents...haha. And yes, they rub a tiny bit, but this weekend I am going to put an end to it and I'll be good to go. They are mounted and finally look beasty. Now my only concern is how they will do offroad and not rubbing up high in the wheel well (do any of you guys experience that?). I'm working/flying nights so I haven't had time to snap a pic of the wheels or rubbing but I'll try to get around to it this week.

Thanks again Levi for making it possible! I'll let ya know how the grinding goes haha

From what I have been told throughout my journey if it rubs just sitting there or daily driving you're going to have a fun experience at lbl.

I guess I need to bring a battery powered angle grinder and a sledge incase you rub too much same for myself lol.

haha, looks like we'll be sharing in the fun together. I hope I can get them ground...(past tense of grind...grinded??) back enough before the meet that I can actually enjoy it out there and not have to worry about rubbing and damaging anything. Ill keep ya posted on what I get done in the near future and we can compare notes to see where the grinding stops at.
