Also, what were the dimensions I need to tell the alignment guys to set everything to in order to make the tires fit better? (something about a 0 toe and camber but a 2.5 something else???)

 

Caster at as much forward (around 2, 2.5) as you can get it everything else (toe and camburg) Set at 0

 

One of the weekend before lbl Katie and I are coming down and we will take care of the rubbing and what ever else needs to be done lol

 

what should caster to be for those on 2.5" with stock uca's?

 

As close to that as possible

 

I got 2.4 out of mine mike with stock uppers.

 

I know, but I know I won't be able to get that. I'm going to put it on our alignment rack tonight and see what happens.

You only lifted 2.5 right? You should get that with no issues.

You basically want as much caster as possible to push your tire away from the cab mount. Most LT kits, especially newly designed ones, move the center point of the kit forward to help with this problem. But you can't just put in 5° caster because you will never be able to set your camber and toe right. All alignment adjustments work together. Move one thing and you have to move the other.

Side note ..... Mike, if you can actually do a good alignment, I'm gonna need one done before lbl if you wanna do it. I also need my tires balanced. I can do all this for free at firestone if you don't want to
