    Short notice, I know.

    Deal wit it! :goingcrazy:

Anyway, it's supposed to rain like a BAWSS this Saturday. Anyone wanna run easy-ass trails at uwharrie in it and get stuck and practice recovery? Or am I the only one?

Actually, unload spare truck, attach strap, recover, and load back up.

It's on. See you at the outpost at 10AM tomorrow, likely in the pouring rain. Bring weather gear.

We'll take it as we see it. If things look dangerous, I got no qualms at all with turning right around and goin' back the way we came.

I have no intentions of running the harder stuff in a downpour.

I'm still washing mud out of the bottom from my last three trips...it's a never-ending process...but the sole purpose of this thing's existence is to have fun, so meh.

Off to O-reilly's to grab some traction boards...

Yeah, that's what I'm seeing in my weather check right now.

    Radar looks like it's building.

It ended up raining for like 5 mins. great weather other then that. We hit a lot of trail! And I got to use my winch for the first time. The KM1's are getting worn too low. No pics.

I got one video of James not-making it up the cattle chute on Dutch John. We had to break out his winch there to get him to pull up.

Other than that, we spent our time riding, not pic-ing. Sorry guys.

We went down Falls Dam, over to Dickey Bell, came back out to the outpost for lunch and 10 minutes of heavy rain, then back in and up Falls Dam (fun in the post-rain slidy-ness), then up Dutch John, then called it a day aroun 4PM.

Other than it being a little slick (be sure to space out on hill climbs and descents) it wasn't too horrible.
