I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
id say 90% of tacoma owners don't offroad so they would want the luxury of an electronic transfer case. If only the sport version was sportier and the offroad version was off-roadier... instead of color matched stuff and lsd vs locker.

touche!! BTW.. forgot to add... I wont have to cough up the money on a crawl box just yet... You can do a twin stick conversion on the standard FJC case itself! So that will save a lot of monies!!

True, but judging by the number of wastes of money^H^H^H^H TRD sports and offroads there are on this site, clearly it's making them more money this way than actually having to put in real, expensive sport or offroad components.

i agree with you 100%. something like a manual transfer case would be a welcome addition. And I could see it being the only realistic one we might see as well. Pretty much can kiss sfa goodbye for anything from toyota. If the fj doesn't have it....well...

That's the problem though... If they would have done the premium color options and the cooler hood then i would have went with the off-road addition! But they only offered that in sport! But why have a sport with 4wd!? (JUST TO HAVE IT!) But all in all i am happy with my decision!

i'll definitely get a OR for my next one and if I need colormatched I'll get it done. To be honest, the grill is the only thing that stands out like a sore thumb on the OR. Hell, I wouldn't even mind the 09 base grill over chrome. I kinda like that color.

Yeah true... Tell them it'll be a deal breaker if they don't throw the scooped hood on no charge! LOL! Right about now i wish i had black handles though.. My color matched handles are fading faster then everything else due to the oils on my hands.

Yeah we can... I'm going to try to take the Actuator off this weekend if i can find time but good news is I found a Fj Transfer case for $650 shipped... I found one in ardmore for $700 but i'm going to try and talk them down to see if they can work with me! Bad thing about the place in Ardmore is they were featured on Horsepower TV a few years back! LOL! So yeah I think they got money to spare...

Well it would be hard to swing something next weekend.. Right? I want it to where most people could come but usually later is better and its not a sure thing Paul can even get away from what he has going on next Saturday anyways.. So I say we either stick to the original plan, make it the 17th weekend or shift it to the 30th! Aaron you think you can convince Travis and Jo to come!? Dave you think you could make it up one of these weekends!? We have the normal crew if we do it on the 17th... Me, Brian, (Maybe) Paul, Jim, and (Maybe) Justin... But i want it to be a little bigger! GaryRed.. You think you could make it!? What about Jeremy? You guys let me know something by the end of the week at least...
