A sad day for Nimblewill Gap/Old Bucktown FS46

Well...They have graded the trail... I am deeply saddened by this. FYI yes it's an old thread but read the most recent posts.

Nimblewill gap

The wife and I were up there last week and they had only graded the first 30 yards or so. The mud pit was still there as well as most of the rocky parts. I will be going out tomorrow for some stress relief I may be in the area I will try to run it again and see if they went any further.

So we all went out there on Saturday...It's all flat now. No rocks, no mud holes, all the brush has been cut back. It's all dirt now...so sad they have bastardized yet another good trail.

The park ranger was driving by and his words were "you wouldn't believe how many people don't even want this open to the public" He said that was the compromise they had to come to.

Damn man. I really liked that trail too. I only got to enjoy it once with you guys. Are there any other good ones in that area?
