Whos Close!? Roanoke/Salem va

Whos close to me Roanoke/Salem and far in between? There might be a thread that list everybody already but my eyes are from looking. Lookin for a day(s) of off road fun kinda new to this, im used to just taking the back roads to the cabin on the week days im off but looking to venture out. Ive got time between 22-28 vacation in july and 7-14 in august for vacation anybody lookin to go somewhere let me kno. and not real sure where to go either so any input on where to go would be good too! Dude i'm in Rocky Mount, most of the family lives in Roanoke though.
